Kansas City's official depth chart has been released and the Chiefs have both running backs Jamaal Charles
and Peyton Hillis
as starters. The Chiefs' coaching staff has already stated they want both backs to have a total of 500 touches this season. It should be of note that the Chiefs added free agent right tackle Eric Winston who set the edge with the Houston Texans for the last six years. No denying the front office wanted to improve the running game and the coaching staff is on the same page.
Fantasy Analysis:
The way this could play out is Hillis could be the red zone guy with Charles handling the ball between the 20s. Kansas City's recommitment to the running game is great news for both backs combined who could put up Priest Holmes or Larry Johnson numbers. Keep an eye on this team because they're young, but talented on both sides of the ball. Hillis is under the radar at the moment, but in a split role, he shouldn't have to deal with the injuries that plagued him in 2011.
