Dallas Cowboys tight end Jason Witten
will be active for his Week 1 game against the New York Giants. Head coach Jason Garrett has said on multiple occasions that Witten would be a game-time decision after being labeled 'doubtful.' Cowboys QB Tony Romo threw the ball around with Witten during pre-game warm-ups.
Fantasy Analysis:
If Witten is your best TE, go ahead and ride with him. This guy is such a warrior and has been insisting that he play to anyone who'd listen. Apparently coach Garrett allowed the decision be made by the team doctors and they gave Witten the green light to play. Start him with confidence. Cornerback Mike Jenkins, safety Matt Johnson, safety Danny McCray, offensive guard David Arkin, tight end Colin Cochart and defensive tackle Jay Ratliff are all listed as inactive for Wednesday night's game.
