For the third consecutive day, running back Trent Richardson participated in Browns practice. According to the Akron Beacon Journal, he is expected to play Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Fantasy Analysis:
I'm guessing that Richardson will be classified as limited in Friday's practice. Browns head coach Pat Shurmur has said that if Richardson can play, he will start. Now to figure out what that means in terms of workload. A lot of teams ran all over the Eagles last season, but I think Richardson is a risky RB2 or flex for Week 1. I think the team will play it somewhat safe with their star rookie and while his upside is huge, you don't want to get stuck with Richardson getting only 8-10 carries. I would consider healthier options even if their skill level can't match up with Richardson. No, I don't care about Montario Hardesty
or Brandon Jackson
.
