Texans RB Arian Foster misses practice Friday, will be game-time decision

The Texans said Thursday they pulled running back Arian Foster @ArianFoster out of practice as a "precaution." Perhaps it was something more than that.
Foster's sore knee held him out of Friday's entire practice, and he is listed as questionable for Sunday's game versus the Dolphins. According to the Houston Chronicle's John McClain, head coach Gary Kubiak said he is "optimistic" Foster will play.

Fantasy Analysis:

Here is a Texas-sized worry for the fantasy world. Well, unless you have Ben Tate @BenTateRB, who stands to see a ton of work if Foster is not well enough to go; Tate would automatically become an RB2.
Foster underwent an MRI on his knee Thursday. The team says it came back clean, but obviously we would have liked to hear that Foster did something today. But he did nothing. Come back here Sunday morning to find out if Foster is active. Until then, Foster owners should go through life with a pair of crossed fingers.

I would take Rice or McCoy depending on ur league scoring. Foster is injury prone, again.

I picked 2nd in my league Foster was available I took Rice! I am glad I did! Why go with an injury prone back when you can have Rice fantasy point wise you wouldnt lose much by taking Rice

A week ago, I would have said Foster. But now, why risk it? Take the healthy back who has two relatively good knees right now. If you pick Foster when Rice is on the board, you're taking an unnecessary risk. The reward wouldn't be that much greater anyway.

@Vincent: Nah. At least Bernard Scott is only one injury away from a huge bump in value. Jacobs, while he'll get some TDs for sure, will still have to deal with Kendall Hunter and LaMichael James if Gore gets hurt.
