CBS Sports NFL insider Jason La Canfora reported that the Minnesota Vikings would like to give, or to use their language are "aiming" to give Adrian Peterson
10 to 15 carries on Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars. That's assuming Peterson is healthy enough and cleared to play. In spite of La Canfora's specutlation, Peterson is still a game-time decision and will have his knee checked out. He is listed as questionable.
Fantasy Analysis:
I've been saying for months now that I have complete confidence in Peterson. Now, if he only gets a dozen carries, then obviously he's a borderline starter at best. Even so, if I had to give any back in the league just 10 to 15 carries per game, Peterson is definitely in the Top 10, if not higher. Unless you've got a backup with a favorable matchup, roll with Peterson since you obviously drafted him for good reason. Start the guys you like and let the chips fall where they may. Toby Gerhart
will likely be the primary ball-carrier for Minnesota.
