Panthers RB Jonathan Stewart tweets that he won't play

Why rely on the media when the player can tell you exactly what's happening? Carolina Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart @Jonathanstewar1 tweeted, "Sorry panther fans but it Looks like I'll be missing the game opener this year due to my recent ankle sprain!" Head coach Ron Rivera had told the media throughout the week that this was not a serious ankle sprain and that Stewart could and should play. Unless something changes though, Stewart is out.

Fantasy Analysis:

DeAngelo Williams @DeAngeloRB should see a very significant increase to his workload, as should Mike Tolbert. Don't forget Cam Newton who's already the team's primary goal-line option. Williams should be considered a must-start since Tampa Bay had such a poor run defense last season. The Bucs have a new coaching staff and it's a new season with new possibilities so it isn't a foregone conclusion they'll repeat as the league's worst fantasy defense against running backs.
