Running back Alfred Morris
got the start for the Redskins on Sunday and acquitted himself well by rushing for 96 yards and two touchdowns. On Monday, head coach Mike Shanahan said Morris will remain in that role.
"Alfred right now is our starting running back," Shanahan said.
Fantasy Analysis:
There may very well come a time in the not-to-distant future when we all remember when Morris was the Redskins' starting running back, scored two times in a game and have a nice laugh, But for now, Morris has the starting job and he has it pretty much all to himself. He got 28 carries against the Saints; no other Redskins running back got more than two. We all know this depth chart can change on whim, but I would have faith in Morris as an RB2 in a favorable matchup against the Rams next week.
