Titans expect QB Jake Locker to play in Week 2 despite shoulder injury

Coaches don't usually like quarterbacks throwing blocks or making tackles, and here's why: The Titans' franchise quarterback, Jake Locker, suffered a left shoulder injury while making a tackle on a fumble return that turned out to not be a fumble during the fourth quarter of Sunday's loss to the Patriots. But head coach Mike Munchak said Monday that Locker is expected to play next week versus San Diego.
Locker completed 23 of 32 passes for 229 yards with one touchdown and one interception. He was also the team's leading rusher with 11 yards.

Fantasy Analysis:

It is unclear whether Locker suffered a shoulder subluxation or dislocation, but Munchak said Locker was well enough that he could have re-entered the game so, whatever. They were trailing 28-10 in the fourth, and the Titans understandably chose to not risk it. He should be a fine a QB2 against the Chargers, especially since Kenny Britt is expected to play.
