Packers WR Greg Jennings, RB James Starks miss Tuesday's practice

It's Tuesday, we're heading into just the second week of the NFL regular season, and we're a little more than 48 hours away from its first kickoff. Great news for us fans; bad news for banged-up players who have very little time to heal. This week, Packers wide receiver Greg Jennings @GregJennings and running back James Starks @James44Starks are fighting against the clock. Jennings has a groin injury, Starks is still dealing with turf toe, and both missed practice on Tuesday.

Fantasy Analysis:

This is expected. Jennings and Starks will likely be game-time decisions. Starks is off the fantasy radar since he's fallen to third on the Packers' RB depth chart, and even wide receiver Randall Cobb @rcobb18 lined up in the backfield almost 20 times in Week 1. Cedric Benson @Cedric_Benson had a really tough go of it against the 49ers' ferocious run defense on Sunday. He should find more room against a Bears defense that is still pretty good against the run but allowed 48 yards and a touchdown to Donald Brown on just nine carries in the season opener.
If Jennings is active, I think he has to be in your lineup. If not, Cobb and James Jones should see an increase in targets, and both would be very worthy WR3 plays. I would rather have the more versatile Cobb if I had to pick one.
