Green Bay Packers wide receiver Greg Jennings
is officially out for tonight's game versus the Chicago Bears. A sore groin has hampered him throughout the short week. He was unable to practice with the team on Tuesday or Wednesday and was listed as doubtful on the injury report.
Fantasy Analysis:
James Jones moves in to the starting lineup. He's a fine play if you need a WR3. Of course, you are starting Jordy Nelson
and Jermichael Finley
. The really intriguing player here is Randall Cobb
. Maybe we're getting a little carried away after one game, but it looks like the Packers will give him every opportunity to be a breakout player this season. NFL Network's Alex Flanagan is reporting that Packers head coach Mike McCarthy will attempt to get the ball to Cobb "as much as he can" tonight. The upside here is incredible, and I love Cobb as a high-end WR3. I told someone earlier today to start him over the Broncos' Eric Decker. We'll see how that turns out, but I love how the Packers utilize Cobb all over the field.
