Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Austin Collie
was held out of practice on Thursday as he is still dealing with the after effect of his multiple concussions. The fourth-year pro did not play in Week 1 during Indianapolis' regular season opener against the Chicago Bears. Strangely enough, Collie was reportedly a full participant in Wednesday's practice. Collie has been cleared for contact so it's still possible he is allowed to play Sunday versus the Minnesota Vikings.
Fantasy Analysis:
For those who have stowed Collie on their bench and are waiting for the former Brigham Young standout to emerge this season, another missed game could negate his fantasy value this season. If he doesn't play in Week 2 and eventually sees the field in Week 3, you probably wouldn't start him then either since there's no telling how he'll play. In his absence, WR Reggie Wayne
had 18 targets in Week 1, making him a great WR2 option while Collie is out. I don't have the patience to keep Collie so unless your waiver wire has been picked clean, it's probably time to move on and cut your losses.
