Washington Redskins wide receiver Pierre Garçon was a "very limited" participant in Thursday's practice while dealing with a foot injury. Head coach Mike Shanahan told reporters, "I really don't know. He was very limited. We'll have a better idea [about Garçon] tomorrow. He got a little work in today, so that was encouraging." The coaching staff has no concern that the fifth-year wideout could do further damage to his foot, "rather it's more of a 'pain tolerance' issue."
Fantasy Analysis:
Garçon had a breakout game to begin the season and was actually injured while sprinting to the endzone on a 88-yard scoring play. The Redskins took a lot of people by surprise when they hung 40 points on the New Orleans Saints in the Superdome. Should he be ready to play, the former Mount Union receiver is a solid flex option although his injury should reflect negatively in your evaluation. Wasington faces the St. Louis Rams in Week 2 so that should provide a friendly matchup.
