Cardinals won't name starting QB, but John Skelton is 'doubtful'

The Cardinals want to keep the Patriots guessing. On Friday, head coach Ken Whisenhunt refused to say who would be his starting quarterback for Sunday's game in New England. But in the process, he basically tipped his hand. Whisenhunt said that while he has hope John Skelton can be available to play, he realizes that's "doubtful."
Skelton suffered a low ankle sprain in Week 1 and didn't practice at all this week.
Fantasy Analysis:
I hate to ruin the surprise, but Kevin Kolb
is going to be Arizona's starting quarterback. And he'll probably fill that role past this week, too. The question now, as with all Cardinals QBs, is how well can he get the ball to Larry Fitzgerald
. Kolb and Fitzerald didn't connect as well as Skelton and Fitzgerald last season, but as I said a couple of days ago, it was nice to see Kolb come out and immediately aim toward Fitz after replacing the injured Skelton last week. If nothing else, Fitzgerald will get a bunch of targets this week and probably some garbage-time points as the Patriots are going to dominate this game.
