Yet another player will have to take a seat this weekend because of a concussion. Saints interim head coach Andy Kromer officially ruled out wide receiver Devery Henderson on Friday for Sunday's game against the Panthers. He caught just one pass last week before sustaining a concussion in the second half of New Orleans' loss to the Redskins.
Fantasy Analysis:
The linked article below states how Joseph Morgan
and Courtney Roby
are expected to see an increase in playing time as a result of Henderson being inactive. But it is Lance Moore
who gets the biggest fantasy boost from this news. Last week, he had a game-high 120 receiving yards and scored a touchdown. He was targeted 12 times, nine of which came after Henderson's third-quarter concussion. I absolutely love him as a WR3 this week versus Carolina.
