Bengals RB Bernard Scott questionable for Week 2

Bengals running back Bernard Scott has a 50-50 shot of playing this weekend, according to the team's injury report. Scott and his surgically repaired hand took part in limited practices from Wednesday through Friday, and he is listed as questionable to play against the Browns. He didn't play in Week 1.

Fantasy Analysis:

It would be a great matchup for Scott, but I don't expect him to get more than a few spare carries if he does play. Back in August, I stayed far away from the Bengals RB situation because I thought Scott and BenJarvus Green-Elliis would come close to splitting carries evenly. Then Scott missed all of the preseason, and BJG-E looked mighty impressive against the Ravens on Monday night. Thus, unless Green-Ellis gets injured, Scott has a lot of work to do if he wants to matter in fantasy owners again. Green-Ellis is an excellent RB2 option against Cleveland's terrible run defense.
