I wrote a post earlier today regarding a few high-ranking fantasy players who are listed on the injury report even though you know they are going to play. It included Calvin Johnson, Adrian Peterson, Trent Richardson and Miles Austin. One player I overlooked and should have included is Cowboys tight end Jason Witten
. He has been practicing fully this week and said he feels close to 100 percent after dealing with a lacerated spleen that forced him to miss most of the preseason.
Fantasy Analysis:
Witten caught two passes for 10 yards in the kickoff game against the Giants. He probably shouldn't have played, but that's a moot point. At least he's better now than he was then. FFToolbox has ranked Witten No. 14 among TEs this week. It's never easy for teams to play in Seattle, but I would put him in the top 12, making him a TE1.
