The NFL Network has reported that Carolina Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart
will play in Week 2. Stewart has been dealing with an ankle sprain and did not play in Week 1. After some rest and multiple reports that said the former Oregon back would be ready to play, it turns out he will be ready to go against the New Orleans Saints. Stewart has been listed as questionable all week.
Fantasy Analysis:
Believe it or not, these Saints may not be as good as we thought. After all, they've lost their head coach/offensive coordinator and defensive coordinator. Getting back Jonathan Vilma
will help but really, I don't care how good Robert Griffin III
is, you don't let a rookie on the Redskins light you up for 40 points. Stewart is a start in my book. Here's what we know: Carolina still has something to prove and the Saints' defense got torched. This isn't to say Stewart is going to score RB1 points, but he has to be better than DeAngelo Williams
last week.
