Giants WR Hakeem Nicks should play in Week 2

New York Giants WR Hakeem Nicks is expected to play against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers according to the NFL Network. Nicks has been dealing with a foot injury and has been listed as questionable throughout the week. The former UNC wideout was limited on Thursday and sat out on Friday. He'll need to play through the pain for now since his surgically-repaired foot is taking longer to heal than anticipated.

Fantasy Analysis:

Until Nicks is able to practice for a full week, Victor Cruz @TeamVic is New York's WR1 in my book. Given the propensity for big WR scoring on this team, Nicks remains a solid WR2 for your fantasy squad. He's still one of maybe a dozen receivers in the league who can go out and put up a monster game against any opponent in the league. Tampa's defense played well against Cam Newton last week yet still allowed Carolina's top two receivers (Steve Smith and Brandon LaFell @Blafell1) to catch 10 passes for 171 yards and a touchdown.
