New York Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw headed to the locker room during his Week 2 game in the second quarter because of a neck injury. He had X-rays done and will now have an MRI Monday. RB Andre brown, a fourth-round pick in 2009, ended up replacing Bradshaw instead of rookie back David Wilson
. Wilson's early ball security issues (one fumble lost) appear to have cost him a shot at increasing playing time in Bradshaw's absence. Brown finished Suday's game with 71 yards on 13 carries and a touchdown.
Fantasy Analysis:
For now, Brown is the hot waiver wire add. He's bounced around the league since being drafted by the Giants. In 2010, he bounced around the rosters of four different teams. Given Bradshaw's persistent injury concers, adding Brown would be wise. The Giants obviously love to pass the ball, as illustrated by Eli Manning's 510 passing yards in Week 2, yet any back in a high-scoring offense is worth a roster spot.
