Rams RB Daryl Richardson was so good, he kept RB Steven Jackson on bench

It wasn't just a groin strain or an unsportsmanlike spike that kept Rams running back Steven Jackson
on the sidelines Sunday. The success of his backup, Daryl Richardson, also played a role. Head coach Jeff Fisher said Monday that Jackson could have re-entered the game if Richardson had struggled. However, Richardson showed explosive qualities as he gained 102 total yards on 17 touches.
Fantasy Analysis:
Meanwhile, 2012 second-round pick Isaiah Pead
was on the field for just two offensive snaps yesterday. So even if Jackson is healthy, it's clear that Richardson is his handcuff and presents quite a change of pace. He should be a popular pickup this week. However, it looks like Jackson will play against the Bears in Week 3, which means Richardson should remain on your bench, and Jackson remains a solid RB2.
