Bills RB Fred Jackson doesn't need surgery

Buffalo Bills running back Fred Jackson @Fred22Jackson should be very happy about his injured knee after a successful "range-of-motion examination showed his lateral collateral ligament will not require surgery," according to The Buffalo News. Jackson should be back "in the earlier part" of his original three- to eight-week diagnosis. In addition, he should be able to begin light running very soon.

Fantasy Analysis:

Jackson can't seem to catch a break after finishing the 2011 season injured, then he immediately gets hurt again. This injury is legitimate too and really, the door has swung wide open for RB C.J. Spiller @CJSPILLER. As mentioned in a previous update, the Bills' running game hits a new level with Spiller out there with his speed and acceleration. Jackson can certainly grind out tough yards but Spiller is the guy everybody wants on their fantasy squad now. Should Jackson return in a month or so, there's just no way he sees more than a change-of-pace role assuming Spiller continues to play well.

Ok so big question for fftoolbox, or anyone... Spiller is an absolute beast, but is this a sell high point? The article would suggest no... But I'm pretty tempted to ship him since RB are a hot commodity and I happen to be in a good position, Arian foster and Darren sproles, PPR 12 team Leage, and I just snagged Andre brown on waivers. My only real weak spot would be my TE, jacob tamme, who I'm thinking about upgrading. Thoughts?

Also I looked forward to my fantasy playoffs and he has a great schedule...

Spiller is a beast but less durable than the other RBs you have. I would suggest trade high. Its too early to look playoff schedule, in my opinion. A lot can happen until then. And in full disclosure, I'm here looking at Spiller to see who Buffalo's third RB is on the depth chart, so I may be biased.

I'm worried too...However, I have Rice, Mathews & McFadden on my team as well.

Having Spiller, AF, & Sproles in a 12-team PPR, would it be safe to trade BaltWR Boldwin to get FJax?

I was just offered this trade. And my current WRs are Welker, Andre Johnson, Hill and Amemdola.

I was thinking of acceping this trade just to see how the Spiller/FJax combo pan out...

I have Foster, Sprolin with the Homies, and Spiller also. I'm keeping Spiller, and I would think you should too unless you can get Graham or Gronk at TE from someone in a pinch. Is Martellus Bennett still available in your league? If so, pick him up! I'd look for waiver value at TE instead of giving up Spiller.
