Greg Jennings is the big name on the Packers' injury report, obviously. However, there are a couple other players fighting through their own injuries who fantasy owners should want to know about.
Running back James Starks
is listed as questionable to face the Seahawks after going through limited practice all week. He is hoping to make his season debut Monday night after missing the past few weeks because of turf toe.
Wide receiver Randall Cobb
is listed as probable. He put in a full practice Saturday despite being annoyed by a hamstring injury.
Fantasy Analysis:
Don't worry, Cedric Benson
owners. Starks may get on the field and handle a few carries, but I don't think there's any question who the team's best running back is right now. This could be a hazy situation later on in the season, but start Benson as a low-end RB2 or strong flex versus Seattle.
Just like last week, Cobb is a possible WR3 option because he is so versatile and explosive, and Jennings is hurt. But he is a high-risk, high-reward player, and Jennings has a much better shot of playing this week. Cobb could bring you a great fantasy line thanks to one play, but I would rather pick someone who I know is going to get the ball at a steady rate.
