Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis
made his return to the field today after missing a week due to a concussion. Then something happened that might very well keep Revis off the field until 2013. A source has told Yahoo.com's Jason Cole that Revis "probably" tore his left ACL during the third quarter of Sunday's overtime victory at Miami. The team will know for sure after a Monday morning MRI.
Fantasy Analysis:
Obviously, this would be a crushing blow to the Jets' defense. It might also force Mark Sanchez to throw more often, so consider it a possible crushing blow to the Jets' offense. Simply, Revis is the team's most important player; missing him will affect it greatly. But I'm sure opposing No. 1 wideouts won't feel so bad. For the next three weeks, Michael Crabtree, Andre Johnson and Reggie Wayne will find more freedom to run against the Jets.
