When Lions quarterback Shaun Hill entered the game with 76 seconds left, trailing by 14 to the Titans, some people may have figured that Detroit was waving the white flag. But no, Matthew Stafford
was on the bench because he just wasn't healthy enough to get on the field. Acccording to the Detroit Free Press, Stafford aggravated a hamstring or glute injury that he originally sustained during the recent practice week. He will undergo an MRI on Monday to learn the severity of the injury.
Fantasy Analysis:
Of course, Hill led the Lions back with two touchdowns in that very short amount of time, including a ridiculous Hail Mary conversion to get the game into overtime. Stafford threw for just one touchdown before exiting the game late in the fourth quarter. Given the easy matchup and his overall lack of production this year, I am slightly concerned about Stafford. Tomorrow will tell me if I should be even more concerned. The Lions host the Vikings in Week 4.
