A source close to the Miami Dolphins told The Palm Beach Post that running back Reggie Bush
's injured left knee is "nothing season-ending" although he'll need to sit out a few games. He was hit in knee by a player's helmet. The former USC star has injured his left knee twice before -- a torn PCL in 2007 and a sprained MCL and torn meniscus in 2008. Bush already had 62 total yards at the time of his injury.
Fantasy Analysis:
The Dolphins' have a bye in Week 7 so the team may opt to rest him over the next three games to prepare him for a Week 8 return. In the mean time, second-year back Daniel Thomas appears to be the team's No. 2 back. Thomas finished Week 3 with 19 carries while rookie Lamar Miller
only had nine. It should be noted though that Miller had a much better yards per carry average (5.3) as well as a game-best 22-yard rush compared to Thomas (3.6 and nine-yard long, respectively). For now, fantasy owners should grab Thomas immediately while deeper formats should also consider adding Miller given the former's injury history.
