After Buffalo Bills running back C.J. Spiller
sustained an injury at Week 3, the Bills will now turn back to RB Fred Jackson
. Jackson injured his knee in the opening game of the season and did not play in Weeks 2 or 3. Head coach Chan Gailey said during a Monday morning radio appearance that, "I don't know if it'll be Wednesday or Thursday, but [Jackson] should practice some time this week. His recovery has been amazing."
Fantasy Analysis:
To play it safe, fantasy owners should also have their eye on RB Tashard Choice
, the Bills No. 3 back behind Spiller and Jackson. A timetable of one to two weeks has been given to Spiller regarding his shoulder sprain so Choice will have at least one week of increased production. Once Spiller returns though, he has been unstoppable and should recapture his role as the team's featured back even with Jackson healthy and ready to play. Jackson is a flex option at best if he is active this week. Expectations should be very low against the New England Patriots, especially since he didn't look that great in limited action (six carries, 15 yards) in Week 1.
