Giants WR Hakeem Nicks anticipates Week 4 return

After sitting out Week 3 with a foot injury, New York Giants wide receiver Hakeem Nicks "definitely anticipates" playing in Week 4 against the Philadelphia Eagles. Nicks did not practice Monday and doctors have advised him to rest all but one day per week until he's healthy. The Giants' receiving corps have fared well in his absence with Ramses Barden @RamsesNYG stepping up in a big way last week as well as consistently great performances from TE Martellus Bennett.

Fantasy Analysis:

One thing about the Giants passing game is that it seems no matter who plays, Eli Manning gets them the ball. Kudos to the New York staff for not missing a beat whether it was Hakeem Nicks a couple years ago, Victor Cruz @TeamVic last season or Barden last Thursday. Once Nicks returns, there's no reason to rush him back into your starting lineup. The Giants obviously have a lot of playmakers and if Nicks isn't quite 100-percent, he'll flounder statistically. Give him a week to sit on your bench, ensure there are no setbacks and check that his target numbers are respectable.
