Titans WR Kenny Britt
rolled his left ankle late in Sunday's win over the Lions and had to sit out some plays during overtime. Tight end Jared Cook
missed a lot more time than that. He didn't play after halftime because of a shoulder injury. But on Tuesday, head coach Mike Munchak expressed some positive feelings about both players' chances to play Sunday versus the Texans.
While there's no word on when Britt might practice, Munchak said his ankle is "improving rapidly." Munchak did say that Cook is expected to practice by Friday at the latest.
Fantasy Analysis:
It's a very tough matchup for Cook as the Texans have allowed a grand total of four catches and 23 yards to tight ends through three games. He had a pretty productive half versus the Lions, but it's not like he's a must-start type of player right now. I would look for better options.
Britt saw his snap count rise from 19 to 37 over the course of one week. If this injury proves to be no biggie, he should see more playing time this week and better his six-catch, 55-yard performance from Week 3. Cornerback Johnathan Joseph is of high quality and pretty much shut down Demaryius Thomas last week. However, Britt is at least a WR3 in Week 4. He was targeted nearly 33 percent of the time he was on the field Sunday.
