Giants RB Ahmad Bradshaw will continue starting upon return

Gregg Rosenthal over at NFL.com is reporting that in spite of New York Giants running back Andre Brown @drebrown35 having a great Week 3 game, RB Ahmad Bradshaw will resume his starting duties once he's healthy enough to play. Bradshaw has been cleared to practice this week and Brown has likely overtaken rookie RB David Wilson @4stillRunning as the team's No. 2 option. Unless Bradshaw is injured again, Brown's fantasy value is very low.

Fantasy Analysis:

With all this in mind, if Bradshaw struggles, don't be surprised to see the Giants give Brown all the opportunities he needs to excel. Given Bradshaw's persistant injury history, there's no reason to drop Brown immediately. Instead, allow this situation to play out. New York faces the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 4 and while they've been stout against the pass, they've struggled at times to defend the run. Look for Bradshaw to get back on track quickly.

Andre Brown or Michael Bush? I feel like they're in a similar position--Brown with Bradshaw coming back will take a back seat and Bush the same with Forte coming back. But is Forte officially to be back to form? If not, Bush is an easy pick. But I feel like he could be just as diminished in carries as Brown, if not more than Brown (considering Brown did so well last Thursday). Who is the better pick? I need to start one.

If you have them both on your roster already, you don't need to make that call until 8pm Sunday night; just see how it plays out. If you need to make the call right now, I'd go with Bush. Bradshaw is probably coming back this week, but Forte probably isn't.

Hello, I have the choice of Ahmad Bradshaw, Andre Brown or Cedric Benson? Who should I go with? NYG may split carries or Bradshaw could get re-injured, while Benson is sure to get most of the carries. Not sure what to do? Any advice? Thanks.

Should I trade Chris Johnson for Andre Brown?

@spbarresi...in my opinion, on this site when FFToolBox downplays a "coming off an injury" RB as having fewer touches, or bringing him back slow, the reality tends to disagree.

Recall M. Leshoure(Det) coming off injury/ susp has 30 touches versus 0 for K. Smith) and A. Peterson vs Gerheart-18 touches to 7 for Gerheart. Number one backs dont appear to lose thouches due to injuries so I would expect A. Brown to have significantly fewer touches if Bradshaw is in fact starting this week. Also ask the question, is a "healthy" C. Johnson ever going to become a number 2 or split touches...or will A. Brown rack up more points weekly even when sharing touches with Bradshaw?
