Houston Texans wide receiver Lestar Jean, an early pre-season deep sleeper, had arthroscopic knee surgery on Tuesday and is out until Week 5 at the very earliest. "Lestar was in here an hour after surgery," head coach Gary Kubiak said. "He's up and around and doing good today. He's 100 percent committed to the treatment." The Texans are optimistic that he will be able to return in two weeks.
Fantasy Analysis:
Behind Andre Johnson
and Kevin Walter, Houston was hoping that Jean could step up and provide the team a new wrinkle to their offense. With him out, look for the Texans to use more power formations using multiple backs or tight ends. Rookie Keshawn Martin
is now the No. 3 receiver, but his expereience is obviously limited after seeing his first significant playing time in Week 3. Considering how often the Texans run the ball, there's now more pressure on Johnson and Walter to make plays downfield.
