Broncos RB Willis McGahee on track to face Raiders

Broncos running back Willis McGahee's best game last season came against the Raiders as he gained 163 with two touchdowns. For all intents and purposes, it looks like he'll have his chance to punish them again this week. McGahee missed most of the second half of last week's loss to the Texans with a rib injury, but he was able to practice Wednesday and Thursday -- he practiced fully on the latter day -- and "appears to be on track" to play Sunday, according to the Denver Post.

Fantasy Analysis:

A full practice on a Thursday indicates that McGahee is feeling pretty, pretty, pretty good. Lance Ball @LanceBall35 and Ronnie Hillman @MrHillman2U were semi-popular pickups this week, but it looks like McGahee will take on a normal amount of work this week. The only question seems to be if he will wear extra padding to protect his ribs. He's a fine RB2 in a plus matchup at home.

Would you start him ahead of Tashard Choice (assuming Jackson is out)?

Definitely.

But that decision will become much easier when Jackson is active Sunday.

Is Mcgahee worth a start over Bowe or M Bush as a flex?

Got a mash up of RB's. Could use some advice.

Cedric Benson, McGahee, DeMarco Murray, and Mikel Leshoure. I can roll with all 4 and sit Brandon LaFell and Greg Olsen or sub one of those guys in for one of them. Thoughts?

you guys should really indicate what type of scoring system you use - specifically, is it a PPR league??

killer: id run all 4 rb's - decent stable you got there! I dont like Patti LaBell or Olsen vs ATL...

novak: Id go with McGahee, unless its PPR, then its Bowe...

I agree with Barry's choices. Bush might start, but that game isn't until Monday night, and we don't know for sure if Forte is going to play. If he does, Bush takes a big drop. So I wouldn;t consider him. Then, yeah, McGahee in standard, Bowe in a PPR. Both are banged up, both will play, both have good matchups.

Definitely going with all four of those RBs if they all play. If Leshoure is inactive tomorrow morning, replace him with LaFell.
