Carolina Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart
has been recently upgraded to probable for his Week 4 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons. Stewart has been battling a toe injury and the former Oregon Duck has only played in Week 2 so far this year. The 5'10", 235-lb. back has practiced throughout the week which should have suggested that the team was looking to get him back on the field.
Fantasy Analysis:
Stewart is a tough back to own right now. Up until this season, he had actually only missed two games in his career and now he's already missed two. Now looking ahead, how will he split touches with DeAngelo Williams
? He had 12 touches in Week 2 and now the Carolina offense doesn't look to be as potent as it was a year ago. For now, I consider Stewart a flex play with good, but not great upside.
