Bears running back Matt Forte
was limited in practice for the fourth consecutive day on Saturday and is considered questionable to play Monday night against the Cowboys. Forte didn't play last week because of a sprained ankle.
Fantasy Analysis:
And that sprain might still be bothering him, but it looks like Forte will at least play Monday night. How effective will he be? How many carries will he get? That's up in the air, and it makes Forte a rather uncertain fantasy choice. If you are trying to figure out whether to start Forte over another RB who is also less than 100 percent (Mikel Leshoure, Willis McGahee, Fred Jackson, Reggie Bush), let me say that I would go with any of those other guys instead of Forte. Again, the fact that he plays in the final game of the week weighs heavily in that opinion. But I also expect Forte to lose a few more carries than normal to Michael Bush
, and the Cowboys' run defense did a good job of slowing down Doug Martin last week at home. If he plays, Forte is a high-end flex option in his first game back from the sprain.
