Indianapolis Colts head coach Chuck Pagano has been diagnosed with leukemia and has taken a leave of absence indefinitely. At 52 years of age, Pagano said that he had felt fatigued and had blood work done. While the situation is serious, a source told the Indianpolis Star that there is optimism about a full recovery. Pagano is currently in a hospital and is expected to stay there for the next six weeks. Offensive coordinator Bruce Arians, formerly with the Pittsburgh Steelers, has been named the interim head coach.
Fantasy Analysis:
No fantasy analysis here. I think it's safe to speak for the entire FFToolbox community when I say we all wish the best for Pagano and our thoughts are with him, his family and friends. Some things are larger than football, and in this case, immeasurably larger than fantasy football. Here's to hoping the Colts can come together and rally in the face of very unfortunate news.
