For the second time in less than a month, Jake Locker's left shoulder popped out of place during a game. The latest incident occurred in the first quarter of Sunday's loss to the Texans after Locker had thrown just two passes. Titans head coach Mike Munchak said Monday that Locker is day to day. He doesn't know if Locker will practice this week and admitted that Locker "wasn't himself" on Sept. 16 versus the Chargers, one week after he suffered a similar injury against the Patriots.
Fantasy Analysis:
So while the expectation has been that Locker could miss multiple games, there seems to be a chance that he could play this week in Minnesota. Just not a good one. Munchak said how poorly Locker played in that San Diego game will factor into his decision of whether or not to play him in Week 5. The Titans obviously don't want to rush their current QB of the future. For now, go ahead and assume that Locker won't play this week. Matt Hasselbeck
would get the start if that's the case.
