The same injury that caused Matt Schaub to miss the 2011 playoffs, put Darren McFadden on the shelf after Week 7 last year and forced Jacoby Ford to undergo season-ending surgery last month -- that's what Jets wide receiver Santonio Holmes
suffered Sunday. The New York Daily News has heard from a source that Holmes has a Lisfranc injury that will likely cost him the rest of the season. Yahoo's Jason Cole tweeted Tuesday that it's "99% likely" that Holmes won't play until 2013.
Fantasy Analysis:
So who's left? Rookie Stephen Hill
is being bothered by a hamstring strain. Same goes for tight end Dustin Keller. Jeremy Kerley
seems to be the Jets' No. 1 WR right now. What a freaking mess. It's even sadder since Mark Sanchez is still throwing the passes. I wouldn't mind owning Tim Tebow when he becomes the starter, but there's nothing that can be done with this offense right now; just avoid every part of it at all costs. And stream defenses that face the Jets when you can.
