The Seattle Seahawks opted to give running back Marshawn Lynch
a bit of a day off. He was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice. Lynch is having a great start to the 2012 season. He leads the league in rushing yards and only Houston's Arian Foster has more carries. There are no reports about Lynch re-aggravating his previous back injury and the team's official injury report lists "rest" as the reason for his time off.
Fantasy Analysis:
Lynch is playing at a very high level. He's had at least 20 carries in every game and in his most recent contest against the Rams, he added four receptions for 37 yards which is a great for PPR owners. There's no reason to be concerned right now, but we can't forget his past. Lynch has missed 24 games in his five-year career and given his physical running style, this should come as no surprise. Start Lynch confidently as your RB1.
