Packers wide receiver Greg Jennings
said earlier this week that he is willing to miss as much time as he needs to make sure his injured groin muscle fully heals. He'll start by missing Sunday's game against the Colts. As expected, Jennings has been officially ruled out. Jennings didn't play in Week 2 because of the groin injury, then re-injured himself in the first half of last week's win over the Saints.
Fantasy Analysis:
As I wrote in a post about Jennings from a few days back, it's worth noting that James Jones scored two touchdowns with Jennings hobbled last week. That kind of makes me feel like he's going to benefit the most from Jennings' absence, but he saw just six targets in that game. Randall Cobb
had seven catches on eight targets. It's difficult to predict if Jones or Cobb are going to have the bigger stat line, but both of them should be productive Sunday. I give the slight edge to Jones.
