As expected, Giants wide receiver Ramses Barden
has been ruled out for Sunday's game versus the Browns. Barden suffered a concussion against the Eagles last week and has yet to be cleared for practice. Barden was a popular fantasy pick-up after his nine-catch, 138-yard performance against the Panthers in Week 3. Then he caught just two passes for 36 yards in Philadelphia.
Fantasy Analysis:
With the likes of Calvin Johnson, Dez Bryant, Miles Austin and Vincent Jackson on bye, some fantasy owners out there might be scrambling for a replacement wide receiver. You should definitely give Domenik Hixon
a long look. After returning from a concussion of his own last week, he got the start over Barden andcaught six passes for 114 yards. Now he will be Eli Manning's clear No. 2 WR versus the second-most generous defense to wide receivers in fantasy. Hixon currently sits at No. 27 in FFToolbox's WR rankings.
