Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill has a chance to build upon his at-times impressive 431-yard outing from last week with a good game against a beatable Bengals secondary on Sunday. But his path to Cincinnati has hit a snag that doesn't seem like anything big right now but could be huge during the game. Tannehill was put on the team's injury report Friday due to an injury to the thumb on his throwing hand. He is listed as probable, and not much is known about the injury or how it occurred.
Even with four starting quarterbacks on bye and Jake Locker injured, you're probably not starting Tannehill. He joined Cam Newton and Robert Griffin III to become the third rookie QB to throw for at least 1,000 yards in his first four games, but he still has a 2:7 touchdown-to-turnover ratio. The big worry is if Tannehill's bum thumb will hurt his ability to get the ball to Brian Hartline , who is FFToolbox's No. 23 WR this week. I guess we'll find out.
