The Indianapolis Colts released wide receiver Kris Adams in order to bring up offensive tackle Tony Hills to the 53-man roster from the practice squad. Adams, a rookie from Texas-El Paso, was officially listed as the team's No. 5 receiver. Injuries to three interior offensive linemen has forced the Colts to shift their offensive line around and Hills will be needed for depth. Adams was an undrafted free agent in 2011 and bounced between three teams before landing with Indianapolis.
Fantasy Analysis:
Adams moving to waivers and likely back on the Colts' practice squad won't have much of a fantasy impact. What will though are the injuries piling up along the Colts' offensive line. Indy will need to find someone to play left guard which will cause a shake-up across their OL depth chart. An already mediocre running game could get worse which will put a lot more pressure on QB Andrew Luck. RB Donald Brown also needs to improve dramatically as he's only rushed for 155 yards through three contests.
