The New York Giants planned to split carries between running backs Ahmad Bradshaw and Andre Brown 
last week. Unfortunately for Brown, he only played nine snaps and was given five carries for 14 yards. Offensive coordinator Kevin Gilbride stated the the team does not trust Brown to pass protect and were forced to throw the ball more often according to an article published in the Newark Star-Ledger.
Fantasy Analysis:
Brown was impressive when he started in Week 3 by rushing for 113 yards and two scores. Fantasy owners might've anticipated he would have a larger role from then on, but the Giants quickly dispelled that notion. Looking ahead, Bradshaw has to be considered a low RB1 or high RB2 on a weekly basis. Brown might see more snaps in the future, but that's largely dependent upon how he practices and develops in his blitz pickup. For now, it's probably safe to release Brown to the waiver wire or perhaps trading him away.
