It's standard practice for the Patriots to list players as questionable on the injury report even when they aren't really that hurt. Tight end Rob Gronkowski
was listed as questionable last week, but he still tore the Bills apart. This week, same thing. He is questionable because of his hip injury. No worries, right? It's just the Patriots being the Patriots and messing around with the injury report. Well, maybe not.
According to Mike Reiss of ESPNBoston.com, "Gronkowski has been dealing with significant pain these last two weeks." Reiss also said that he "wouldn't be surprised" if the team is more concerned about Gronkowski's hip than Aaron Hernandez
's ankle.
Fantasy Analysis:
For this week, I'm not too worried. Gronk will play versus the Broncos and is a must-start. But it's time to take this situation a little more seriously. Keep a close eye on the practice reports and track Gronk's activity. It's possible that he could see less playing time in an effort to rest his hip, especially when Hernandez returns.
