Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson
played through an ankle injury on Sunday and still managed to have two of his longest runs this season. "The whole game I was fighting through it," said Peterson. "The wrong tackle aggravates it, but I got through it. I couldn't cut, and I was trying to test it out. That threw my focus off." In spite of his injury, Peterson totaled 103 yards although he hasn't found the end zone since Week 1.
Fantasy Analysis:
Peterson continues to have a solid year and has outplayed most people's expectations of him. He's had at least 80 total yards in every game and currently ranks eighth in the NFL in rushing yards per game (84). Looking ahead, the Vikings don't play the meat of their schedule until after their Week 11 bye. In those final six games, they face Green Bay twice, Chicago twice, St. Louis and Houston. For now though, Peterson is a must-start as long as he's healthy.
