Washington Redskins wide receiver Leonard Hankerson
was demoted, even if unofficially, and only played nine snaps on Sunday, one fewer than teammate WR Aldrick Robinson
. Hankerson managed to crack the starting lineup in previous weeks, but with the return of Pierre Garcon
, Hankerson finished fifth on the team in Week 5 in snaps. Garcon, Josh Morgan, Santana Moss
, and Robinson all saw more playing time. Hankerson still leads all Skins wide receivers with 14 receptions for 184 yards. TE Fred Davis has 20 receptions for 266 yards.
Fantasy Analysis:
Most of us were worried about who would end up the Redskins' starting back, but Alfred Morris has a firm grasp on that title. What's confusing is what the depth chart is at wide receiver, specifically behind Garcon. Washington seems to be still sorting out who their best options are which isn't a good sign for fantasy owners looking to capitalize on their improved 2012 offense. If Robert Griffin III
misses a game or two because of his concussion, it'll only further complicate matters as Kirk Cousins
may have developed chemistry at a different rate with some of the other wideouts.
