Due to injuries to New York Giants wide receivers Hakeem Nicks and Ramses Barden
, the door of opportunity swung open for rookie Rueben Randle
. Seeing significant snaps for the first time in his career, Randle caught a team-high six passes for 82 yards during the Giants' convincing 41-27 win over the Cleveland Browns. Domenik Hixon
added five receptions for 55 yards and Victor Cruz
stole the show as usual with five receptions for 50 yards and three TDs.
Fantasy Analysis:
The Giants put up big numbers across the board. Eli Manning threw three TDs and passed for 259 yards. Ahmad Bradshaw rushed 30 times for 200 yards and a score. Even rookie David Wilson broke off a 40-yard TD run. The Giants rank third in the NFL by scoring 30.4 points per game. As for Randle's big game, it doesn't affect fantasy other than to further prove that no matter who starts for the Giants, Eli Manning is going to find him. Nicks, Cruz, Hixon, Barden, or Randle, if they start then they have the potential to perform very well.
