Jaguars will not make switch at QB

The Florida Times-Union reported on Sunday that Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Mike Mularkey is currently "not considering" a switch at the quarterback position. Through five games, Gabbert is only completing 54.8 percent of his passes and averaging 159.2 passing yards per game. Mularkey added, "The two pick-sixes make it look like it's on him. He could have played better as they all could have. There are some things that I would like him to do better."

Fantasy Analysis:

Jacksonville is a bad team and it's not solely on the shoulders of Gabbert, although he is certainly a weak link. The Jags rank last in passing, 18th in rushing, 21st in pass yards allowed and 29th in rush yards allowed. Across the board, there are less than stellar numbers. Backup QB Chad Henne certainly hasn't wowed anyone in his career either. In 2009 and 2010, he played 29 games for Miami and failed to lead the team to a winning record.
