Houston Texans inside linebacker Brian Cushing
may have torn his ACL on Monday night. Cushing was injured during a cut block from New York Jets offensive lineman Matt Slauson. "Hoping for the best right now," Cushing said. "Obviously, it could be everything with the knee or nothing in the knee. It's a knee injury, and we'll see." The former USC Trojan leads his team with 29 total tackles.
Fantasy Analysis:
Cushing has been an IDP staple since entering the league. The fourth-year veteran would be replaced by Tim Dobbins and Mister Alexander would also see more playing time. Neither player is likely to have enough production to merit a roster spot in even the deepest IDP formats. The Texans will need IDP stud DE J.J. Watt
to continue his dominating style of play to make up for the potential loss of Cushing for the remainder of the season.
