The Texans have been pretty tight-lipped about what is going on with running back Ben Tate
's injured toe. It's fair to assume that he is dealing with turf toe, but that hasn't been expressed explicitly. Whatever the case, head coach Gary Kubiak said Tuesday that Tate "was not close" to playing last night against the Jets.
Fantasy Analysis:
Justin Forsett
played the role of backup to Arian Foster on Monday night, rushing four times for six yards. So yeah, nothing to see there. The Texans want to get Tate back on the field as soon as possible; there's just no sign as to when that time will come. Right now, he doesn't look like a good bet to play this weekend against the Packers. And even if he is on the field, Tate is tough to depend on for fantasy when Arian Foster is rolling as well as he is. Tate has rushed for 117 yards on 30 carries in four games.
