Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III
continues to make progress after suffering a concussion on Sunday. A source familiar with the situation told the Washington Post on Tuesday that Griffin has been cleared to practice and, barring a setback, "He will practice [Wednesday]."
Fantasy Analysis:
It's a step. RGIII would need to avoid any recurrence of concussion symptoms, which can pop up at any time. And he still needs to be cleared by both team doctors and an independent neurologist. He will go through non-contract drills if he can practice Wednesday, but if he makes it through to Thursday without any impediments, it would be a boon to chances to play Sunday against the Vikings. And that would be oh-so-welcomed news for Griffin owners out there, such as myself, who really, really don't want to see any more of what Kirk Cousins
has to offer.
